Chantal Okindo the founder of Pivot Point Properties Ltd., has cultivated a passion for Real Estate from the ground up. Real Estate was never a career path she intended to take but in 1997 she started her first part-time job at a local management office cleaning, filing documents and the occasional reception relief. These tasks sparked a desire for working with people, document organization, structure and efficiency in the work place. Chantal took advantage of the opportunities before her, quickly learning customer service, administrative and document management. After traveling abroad working for a major cruise line and harvesting additional skills, in 2007 under the recommendation of family and coworkers, Chantal studied strata management at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business and became a licensee through the Real Estate Council of British Columbia.
With the long-term goal of owning a management company, Chantal commenced study at Sauder School of Business, taking the business management and financial management brokers licensing course and became licensed in 2014. Chantal has built a solid foundation of 24 years experience in the Strata Management industry, has a long record of Strata Corporation retention, has been liaising with Strata Corporations for over 15 years and hopes to continue for years to come.
Her mission is to see all Strata Corporations managed by her firm, be desirable places to live, while removing the stigma and unspoken negative culture associated with community living. With an urge to train and mentor those of a similar mindset she has launched a company ready to serve Strata Councils with a parallel hope and vision for their property.
Chantal lives in Abbotsford, B.C. with her husband, three kids and family dog. In her spare time, she enjoys to laugh with friends and family, cook, bake, sing, camp and travel to new destinations.
